Ellen's Run

Sunday, August 16, 2009 | 7:00pm

Bridget got up early this morning to join 600 other runners and hundreds of spectators for the 14th annual Ellen's Run, a 5K race to benefit breast cancer research. While there, she caught up with Julie Ratner, the founder and chair of the Ellen Hermanson Foundation (pictured above). The event raised more than $130,000 for the new Ellen Hermanson Breast Center at Southampton Hospital. Below, she cools down in the company of Councilwoman Nancy Graboski and Councilwoman -- and "running mate" (get it?) -- Sally Pope.

Read all about it in the Southampton Press or on Hamptons.com, and be sure to check out our full gallery from the event on our Flickr page, or on Facebook.
